1. Service and Intellectual Property
Modilfy offers a cloud-based service for splitting 3D models into molds. The user retains all intellectual property rights to the original uploaded 3D files. The mold files generated through the platform become the property of the user. The code, design, and splitting algorithms remain the exclusive property of the site (Modilfy).
2. Patent Pending Protection
Modilfy's technology, including the methods for the automated splitting of 3D models into 2-part, 4-part, and 8-part molds, is currently patent pending. The logical infrastructure, calculation processes, and platform design are strictly protected by law. Any attempt at reverse engineering, copying, alteration, or unauthorized reproduction of the operational processes and features offered by the site is strictly prohibited.
3. Limitation of Liability and Cutting Modes
Modilfy's algorithm for automatic splitting into 2, 4, or 8 parts is an advanced tool, but given the infinite variety and complexity of 3D geometries, it does not guarantee a 100% success rate or a perfect cut for every single model. For this reason, the user is required to verify the result in advance using the Preview feature before proceeding with the final generation and spending their credits.
If the automatic splitting is not optimal for the specific geometry of the file, the user has the Manual Mode available. By choosing Manual Mode, the user has total control over the positioning of the parting line and assumes full and total responsibility for the technical and functional success of the mold. Under no circumstances will the site be held liable for defective molds resulting from the user's manual choices or the physical limits of the automatic algorithm.
